Stay for the firework show that begins at 9:15 over Lake Apopka. Parking is available at Health Central Park and Dillard Street Elementary.

Avalon Park in East Orlando is having its ninth annual Fourth of July Celebration from 9 to 5 pm this Monday. Join in the fun with an apple pie bake-off, hotdog eating contest, bike parade, live performances and of course fireworks and more.

Independence Day Bash

Watermelon 5K

Get out your running shoes and join the Watermelon 5K that begins at 7:00 am in Downtown Winter Park. After the race check out the Watermelon Eating Contest at 8:00 am or take the kids to join the FREE Kid’s run at 8:15am. 21st Annual Olde Fashioned 4th of July Celebration

This early morning celebration starts bright and early at 9:00 am and continues until 1:00pm. Enjoy the morning with a special presentation of an “Oath of Allegiance” ceremony kicked off by the Mayor Steve Leary. The celebration will continue with live patriotic music by the Bach Festival Choir and Brass Ensemble, horse-drawn wagon rides, Orlando Cloggers, Rockin’ Roadster Road Show and more. There will be additional children’s actives including the annual bicycle parade lining up at 8:30 am and starting at 9:00 am.

Join one of the largest Independence Day celebration days in Central Florida for Red, Hot and Boom at Cranes Roost in Altamont Springs, FL.  The day begins at 4 pm and continues on until around 11 pm. You can’t talk about fireworks without mentioning Walt Disney World. View one of the most spectacular firework displays on Sunday or Monday beginning at 9:00 pm in the Magic Kingdom. SeaWorld's Fourth of July Celebration

Have fun all day at SeaWorld with the family and then line up to see the magnificent firework show that will be patriotic-inspired and feature the 13th Army Band, Florida National Guard. The fireworks beginning at 10:00 pm inside the park and can be best viewed from Bayside Stadium.

Fireworks at the Fountain

The downtown events start around 4:00 and begin at the Walt Disney Amphitheater at Lake Eola Park. There will be live music, children’s activities, as well as food vendors. The firework display over the lake will begin at 9:15 pm. There will be road closures due to the event so be sure to check out the City of Orlando’s page regarding parking and transportation that is available.
